Amira Willighagen is a Dutch soprano who, at the age of nine, won the sixth season of Holland’s Got Talent in 2013. Willighagen auditioned for Holland’s Got Talent and wowed the panel of judges with her rendition of “O Mio Babbino Caro” from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, leaving the judges speechless.
Her performance quickly became a YouTube sensation, garnering over 42 million views as of September 2021. She performed Gounod’s “Ave Maria” in the semi-finals. “You’re a star who belongs on stage!” “One of the judges, Dan Carati, said after her performance in the semi-finals of Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s Turandot.
